Lesson 12: Money, Patience and Peace

We live in a fast paced time.  Everyone wants patience, and they want it NOW!  God has His own time table and He knows what is best!  Moses was in the wilderness 40 years before the Lord used him to lead Israel out of Egypt!  Noah preached for 120 years before the flood!  Waiting on the Lord is the test of our trust in the Lord.  He will never fail you, but sometimes you just have to “Wait on the Lord!”

Dear friend, soon all the troubles, cares and burdens of this life will be over.  The Lord is coming.  With Him is the reward of eternal joy beyond our imagination.  Is not the sure promise of God worth waiting for?  Besides, with the Lord you have peace and joy in your heart now!  It’s just simply the only way to really live!  Don’t let the devil continue to rob your heart and mind of the peace and joy the Lord offers.  Be encouraged!  Look up! There's always hope!

God’s commandments and statutes are right.  If loved and followed, they will bring us great peace in our hearts!  It is guilt -- sin, which the Bible says is “transgression of the law” that causes so many mental and physical problems in this world! Repentance and a love for God’s law will do wonders for the mind!
