Lesson 22: Behold!  I Come Quickly!

"Behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with Me."

Verse 12

This is the last lesson in the exciting Revelation NOW! series.  I pray that you have been blessed by these lessons.

1.  What did John see proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb?  See Rev. 22:1.

Answer: A of .

2.  What was on either side of the river?  See Rev. 22:2.

Answer: The of .

This tree was the one that fallen man was forbidden to eat from!  See Genesis 3:24.   But now that man has been redeemed from sin, this tree is once again restored!  God will pick up where He left off before sin entered the world!

3.  What were the leaves of the tree of life for?  See Rev. 22:2 again.

Answer: The of the .

There is some kind of great healing power in this tree, for if Adam had continued to eat from it, he would have never died! See Genesis 3:22-24.   Perhaps it so boosts man’s system that he becomes immune even to the aging process!  No doubt this tree’s source of life comes from the Lord, and as the redeemed eat of it, a different fruit for every month, they will continually remember that the Lord is the source of their life, their happiness, and their existence!

4.  What is another thing that shall NOT be there?  Rev. 22:3.

Answer: There will be no more .

Gone will be the curse of sin, of loneliness, poverty, sickness, mourning, death etc.!  We will serve the Lord with gladness of heart!

5.  What do you think will be the most beautiful thing we can see in heaven?  Rev. 22:4.

Answer: The of .

Face to face with Christ my Savior, face to face, what will it be? O, when in rapture I behold Him, Jesus Christ who died for me!

6.  Why did Yahweh, our heavenly Father send these messages to us?  Rev. 22:5-6.

Fill in: "... to unto His servants the which must be ."

God has given us the great truths we have studied in these 22 sessions so that we would know what will happen in the future! These things MUST come to pass because God has said so!  Jesus said, “The Scripture cannot be broken.”  See John 10:35.

7.  Jesus said, “Behold, I come quickly!”  Who did he say would be especially blessed?  Rev. 22:7.

Answer: Those that the of the of this .

How sad that many churches and pastors never even preach or teach the great line of prophecies found in the book of Revelation!  For this reason, many miss out on a tremendous spiritual blessing!

8.  What did John do when he saw the great things the angel was showing him?  See Rev. 22:8.

Answer: He to the .

9.  What did the angel say to him?  See Rev. 22:9.

Fill in: "See thou it : for I am thy , and of thy the , and of them which the of this : God.”

The angel did not allow John to bow down to him!  Only to God should we bow down!  See Matthew 4:8-10.   When Cornelius bowed down to Peter, he was quickly rebuked by Peter who said, “I myself also am a man.”  See Acts 10:25-26.   It is amazing that today so many are deceived and bow down before statues and images, and before the Roman Catholic pope!  It is ironic that the pope, who claims to have inherited the papal throne from Peter does not do as Peter did, and rebuke those who bow down to him!  But you see, the devil claims all the worship given to the beast as worship given to him!  See Revelation 13:4.   Image and man worship is another type of devil worship!

Look at verse 9 again, and you will see that John’s brethren are the “prophets.”  These brethren have the “testimony of Jesus” according to chapter 19, verse 10.  This means that when it says the “remnant” church will have in it the “testimony of Jesus,” (see Rev. 12, verse 17), then it means they must have a prophet in their midst!  This has indeed been the case in the Seventh-day Adventist Church which has been given the testimony of Jesus through the Spirit of Prophecy!  If you
have not read some of the books written by Mrs. White, I highly recommend that you do so as soon as possible.  You will be greatly blessed!

10.  What did the angel tell John NOT to do with the prophecies of this important book?  See Rev. 22:10.

Answer: He was told to them.

11.  What decree is issued just before Jesus returns?  Rev. 22:11.

Fill in: “He that is let him be still; and he that is , let him be still; and he that is , let him be still; and he that is , let him be still."

This is the decree that will be issued when man’s probation closes.  This happens just before Jesus returns, as we will see in the next verse!

12.  What does Jesus say right after the decree of verse 11 goes into effect?  See Rev. 22:12.

Answer: Behold, I .

13.  What does Jesus bring with Him when He comes?  See Rev. 22:12 again.

Answer: His .

This verse tells us that the rewards must be determined before Jesus returns.  Hence the need for a pre-advent investigative judgment!  This began in 1844 when the 2300 days of Daniel 8:14 ended.  It will continue until Jesus returns!

14.  Who has the right to enter in through those pearly gates into the New Jerusalem?  See Rev. 22:13-14 in the King James Version.

Answer: Those that His .

The ones who DO God’s commandments, obey them, not just believe in them, will have the right to enter paradise!

15.  Who will never be allowed to enter in through the gates of God’s kingdom?  See Rev. 22:15.

Answer: , (this means sexual perverts, not the animal dog), and , and , and , and whoever loveth and maketh a .

16.  What did Jesus, the “Bright Morning Star,” and the “Root of David” tell the spirit and the bride to say?  See Rev. 22:17.

Answer: .

17.  In Rev. 22:17, what are those who “heareth” supposed to say to others?

Answer: .

Once we hear the glorious gospel truth, we have an obligation, if we are truly led by the Holy Spirit, to share these truths with others!

18.  What will happen to any one who adds to or takes away from the word of God?  See Rev. 22:18-19.

Answer: God will add the to those who add to the Bible, and He will out the from the book of of all those who take words out of His Bible!

The Bible and the Bible alone is to be our rule of faith and practice.

19.  What are Jesus’ last words written in the Bible?  See Rev. 22:20.

Answer: "Surely, I ."

20.  And what do we say in answer to Him?  See Rev. 22:20, the last part.

Answer: "Even , , ."
