Marking Your Bibles

During this training class, you will be asked to mark your Bibles.  It will be part of your homework assignment each week.  There will be 12 lessons in all that you need to mark in your Bible.  These must be completed before you can take your final exam during session 6.  The three studies for week one are the Gospel, the Bible, and the Godhead.  Mark these studies in your Bibles before next session.   Here are the letters you will use as your marking code.

 1. The Gospel  = G
 2. The Bible = W  (for WORD)
 3. The Godhead = GH  (GODHEAD)
 4. The 2nd Coming = S
 5. The Law = L
 6. The Sabbath = 7
 7. Christian Living = H  (HOLINESS)
 8. Stewardship = T  (TITHES)
 9. State of the Dead = R  (RESURRECTION)
10. Assurance = RF (RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH)
11. The Remnant = RC
12. Baptism = B

The way you would mark the Bible is illustrated below.

G  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 6:23.
Notice the G for Gospel to the left of the frame, and also notice the next verse to go to (Romans 6:23) under the text.  If this was the last verse in the study, you would put the first verse under the text so that no matter which verse in this study you opened to, you could go in a circle through the complete study!

In the front of your Bible, on one of the blank pages,  you would create an index to the studies and the first verses of each study like illustrated below.

G - The Gospel - Ephesians 2:8-9
W- The Bible - Matthew 4:4
GH - The Godhead - John 1:1 etc.
